I loved this scene in City of Glass so much. It was so desperate.
I tried to show this slight desperation with this picture when I desaturated Jace's side. In that part of the book, he still think's he is a half-demon.
That he should be damned for loving Clary like he does.
And Clary, finally slept peaceful for the first time since everything started, with him by her side.
We're not exactly laying on that picture, but I hope we can bring those emotions over anyways.

The selective focus on this really makes this image work nicely I think... She seems content with leaning up against him, as if she wants nothing more than to be close to him. As content as she is, she still has her arm twined with his just to hold onto him and feel his pulse at the wrist. At the feeling, she falls asleep. He seems lost in thought and a bit uneasy. Feeling almost torn between wanting to be elsewhere but at the same time wishes to be no where else but next to her.
